Shöck moves to Segro Industrial Park Tychy

Schöck Group has leased 4 050 sqm of warehouse space in SEGRO Industrial Park Tychy 2.

The tenant will double its production area in the new location. Schöck Group was represented by Savills. The owner, developer and property manager of the facility is SEGRO. Schöck Group is a manufacturer of thermal and acoustic insulation of load bearing building elements. The facility in Tychy is still under construction. The tenant will enter the building by the end of 2018.

“Due to the dynamic development of the company, in order to maintain production efficiency, we have decided to move our business to a larger facility. This change will also increase our workforce. The process of selecting the most suitable facility that would meet our needs was smooth and we are now very happy with the change” – says Czesław Gąsiorek, Plant Manager at Schöck.

“The new location of the client is close to the warehouse occupied so far, so this change will not cause difficulties for employees when it comes to commuting to work. The advantage of the new location, in addition to the high quality of the space and adapting the technical specifications to the needs of the client,  is a good exposure allowing better visibility of the Schöck Group” – says Daniel Kempa, Senior Consultant, Industrial Agency, Savills.

“We recently finished the first phase of new development project in SEGRO Industrial Park Tychy 2 and another one is already under construction. It will include space for our new customer. In the meantime, the second building in the same park is under construction with option of further expansion. This dynamic shows optimistic economic situation on the industrial and logistics market. It’s a great opportunity for us regarding both development possibilities as well as existing space that is available now in our park in Gliwice” – sums up Joanna Janiszewska, SEGRO Regional Director.

SEGRO Industrial Park Tychy 2 is a project consisting of two buildings, which will offer almost 42,000 sqm of warehouse and production space.
