PwC Expands in International Business Center
PwC has decided to expand its Warsaw office in the International Business Center by 3,600 sqm.
The international consulting company will now occupy over 13,700 sqm of office space. Deka Immobilien, the owner of the building, was represented by Savills in the transaction. PwC offers business, tax and legal consulting services as well as audit. PwC has been operating on the Polish market for over 26 years.
“PwC Poland employs over 3,500 people already. We are constantly developing our services. We completed the acquisition of Outbox Group, bolstering our portfolio by IT solutions (CRM, e-commerce), as well as Fern Partners, that specialises in pricing strategies. Also a group of brand strategist joined our team recently,” said Michał Gołębiewski, PwC Poland.
“A recognizable building, with a good exposition of the company logo on the façade together with the possibility of expansion within one complex, is an important asset for the biggest consulting companies. In addition, for such large employers, convenient access to public transport, is also vital. The proximity of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Warsaw University of Technology, as well as the metro station Pole Mokotowskie and Zbawiciela Square are both advantages in the context of attracting young candidates. IBC offers all these qualities” said Daniel Czarnecki, Portfolio Manager, Office Department, Landlord Representation, Savills.
The International Business Center is an A+ office complex offering over 36,000 sqm of space in two buildings. IBC is located at the junction of Waryńskiego Street with Armii Ludowej Avenue in Warsaw, which provides an excellent access to the city center and other districts. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of public transport stops and the Metro Politechnika station. Savills is the exclusive agent for IBC. The property is part of the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-Immobilien Europa.
