Koneser and Grupa Warszawa sets new tone for Warsaw’s Praga District

Centrum Praskie Koneser welcomes another prestigious tenant from the restaurant and entertainment industry.

Koneser, developed jointly by Liebrecht & wooD Group and BBI Development S.A., will be the first mixed-use lifestyle center in Poland, located in the heart of Warsaw’s Praga District, in the Ząbkowska, Markowska, Białostocka and Nieporęcka Street quarter. The complex combines the unique cultural heritage of the district – ranked fourth among 23 alternative European districts worth visiting (Travel Supermarket, January 2017) – with a unique energy and the newest technologies. The former Warsaw Vodka Distillery will be a vibrant place throughout the entire year, offering visitors, tenants and residents an extensive retail offer as well as cultural events. Thirty percent of its 21,800 sqm of retail space will be leased to food operators: cafés, clubs and restaurants serving a wide selection of cuisine from around the world.

Grupa Warszawa joined the food and services section of Koneser, renting 580 sqm in the revitalized building G. The founders of Grupa Warszawa, Norbert Redkie, Bartłomiej Kraciuk and Hubert Karsz, are planning to open a multi-level restaurant with a club and bar.

Centrum Praskie Koneser

Grupa Warszawa is well known for its original food, entertainment and cultural concepts inspired by Polish traditions and highlighting the beauty of their venues’ architecture throughout Warsaw. Their first project, Warszawa Powiśle, opened in 2008. Today, Grupa Warszawa boasts an impressive portfolio of bars, clubs and restaurants, such as Weles, Syreni Śpiew (2012-2017), Stacja Mercedes (2013-2015), Zorza, Granda!, Szarotka, and also Biała – zjedz i wypij – the newest, fully-fledged restaurant established in the modernist Łepkowscy villa in Saska Kepa.

“Our mission is to change people’s awareness and the space that we live in. We move boundaries in a way that allows us to introduce something new to our guests each time. We want them to enjoy the moment using all their senses. Our new project in Koneser will be designed to harmonize with the unique atmosphere of Warsaw’s Praga,” said Norbert Redkie.

“We are very proud that Grupa Warszawa has chosen Koneser. Koneser provides excellent space for unique concepts, which combine a gastronomic experience with artistic events. The Grupa Warszawa project will perfectly complement our offer, directed to those who like to spend their time in a pleasant way. We are waiting for Warsaw’s residents and tourists interested in exploring Praga – a district that is becoming increasingly more popular among foreign guests – and finally, representatives of creative businesses” said Mariusz Kozłowski, President of the Management Board of Liebrecht & wooD Poland.
