Richard Stephens is founder & editor of Poland Today, an English-language media firm based in Warsaw. The company is the publisher of the award-winning Poland Today magazine and hosts its flagship conferences at MIPIM, the world’s leading real estate fair in Cannes. Richard is also Director of the Emerging Europe Awards in London, organized by Emerging Europe. He was previously editor of Eurobuild CEE magazine, where he established the conference department and also created the hugely successful Eurobuild Awards Gala, running the first two editions. Previously, he was Managing Director of CEPIF, the CEE region’s real estate fair in Warsaw. Throughout his career, Richard has organised over 120 international conferences and events, including 10+ trips of international journalists to Poland & CEE countries on behalf of entities like UEFA, ahead of Euro 2012 in Poland & Ukraine. Richard is English and graduated in Theology & Religious Studies from Bristol University.

Rafał Trzaskowski

Rafał Trzaskowski, who is a member of PO (Platforma Obywatelska - Civic Platform party), was elected Mayor of Warsaw on 21 October 2018, receiving a total of 505,187 votes to beat the PiS (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - Law & Justice party) candidate Patryk Jaki in the first round with a total share of 56.67% of the vote. He assumed office on 22 November. Trzaskowski was previously a member of the European Parliament from 2009 - 2014. He also served in Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government as Minister of Administration and Digitisation (2013 - 2014) and as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2014 - 2015).

On 27 November 2015, Tadeusz Kościński was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology. Responsible for: the development and implementation of rules governing trade between the European Union and third states, issues related to economic security and supervising the provision of services related to electronic signature. Tadeusz Kościński is responsible for the implementation of European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013 and programs under the European Neighbourhood Instrument 2014-2020. He supervises tasks which are related to functions performed by the Minister in the capacity of a Certifying Authority. He has been working in the banking sector throughout his professional career. From 1997, he served as a director at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. Previously, he had worked at Polski Bank Rozwoju S.A., Bank Przemysłowo-Handlowy, Bank Śląski and Bank Pomorski, and at two banks in London. He is a graduate of the Goldsmith’s University of London. The founder of the “Kresy Historii” Foundation. Tadeusz Kościński is fluent in English.

MetaProp Advisors provides strategic advice, growth consulting, event management and market research for real estate companies that are serious about innovation. Previously, Aaron served as CEO of Chicago-based BayRu, LLC, a US-Russia ecommerce shopping and shipping specialist and eBay.com’s exclusive drop shipping partner for Russia/CIS consumers. By 2013, BayRu grew to become the 8th largest international online retailer in Russia, was #11 on the Inc5000 “Top 100 Retail Companies” list, and was named “Exporter of the Year” by the official export promotion magazine of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Prior to BayRu, Aaron was an executive with commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield and oversaw more than 270 professionals as leader of the Chicago region. Aaron received numerous honors and awards during his real estate career including Top Producer, Most Creative Deal, Agency of the Year and Most Promising Brokerage Professional. Notably, Aaron completed the largest leasing deal in Russian history and the largest leasing deal of the year in Ukraine (2007).

Julia Arlt

Julia is an Innovation Real Estate Director at PwC. Her areas of expertise include deals strategy, digital real estate consulting, new product development and startup collaboration. She co-founded the Austrian PropTech Initiative with top notch startup founders, co-initiated the European PropTech Initiative and co-founded the pan-european FUTURE: PropTech event platform. Julia is a start up mentor at MetaProp NYC, the leading PropTech accelerator with 70+ investments, member of the awards committee at MetaProp MIPIM, MIPIM worldwide PropTech ambassador, as well as part of the advisory board of the Real Estate Innovation Network at ExpoReal. She lectures at universities and is speaker at international conferences. In her career she supported hands-on PropTech start-ups to excel and raised funds for a hedge fund located on Wall Street and a venture capital firm in CEE, closed M&A deals and supported Seedcamp in deal sourcing. Julia has a finance MBA from Arthur D. Little School of Management in Boston, a Master in marketing from Hamburg University and a Bachelor in human resources from Hamburg University of economic and politics.

Frank Schuhholz

Frank Schuhholz has been Managing Director of FMS Advisers B.V. since June 2016. A key focus of his current activities is the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with its potential impacts on future trade flows between Asia and Europe, and vice versa, and the consequences on current and future logistic hot spots in the CEE as well as SEE regions compared to existing Western European locations. He also advises shippers, Freight Villages as well as Logistic Service Providers on how to benefit from multimodal transport solutions on a European as well as global level. Frank holds a double degree in International Management (DE/FR). He started his career with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (HWL) in Hamburg in 1998. Between 1999 and 2003 he worked for HWL in Poland, holding COO position as of 2001. In 2003 he became Head of Logistic Services at DB Cargo headquarters in Mainz. In this function he launched and implemented the successful Railport concept in various European countries in order to enable sustainable growth for the company's conventional wagon load business on a European level.

Joined IMMOBEL in September 2017 as CEO of the Polish subsidiary. After studying at University of Warsaw, he started his career at Raiffeisen Bank in Warsaw. Afterwards he joined Cargill in Cobham (UK). In 2007, after working five years at Heitman in London and Warsaw, he joined TriGranit Development as Managing Director for Poland. Afterwards he went in a temporary partnership with ALLFIN Lux, to acquire and develop real estate assets in Poland. Formerly he served also as Consultant to Warimpex (2009-2010) as well as Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Management Board of GTC (2010-2017), two Warsaw stock listed developers. From February 2016 until the end of August 2017, he also was a Board Member of IMMOBEL.

Tomasz Trzósło

Tomasz is a country manager for JLL in Poland, responsible for a business of 320+ people. Prior to this role, he headed up the CEE Capital Markets team (with responsibility for investment advisory services in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and the Balkan countries). Tomasz completed numerous high profile investment transactions, advising clients on acquiring or selling numerous properties, and portfolios of properties, in the CEE region. He has also a substantial track record in corporate finance, with the completion of a number of debt financing and structured equity financing mandates, including a recent EUR 1 billion private placement of retail and office portfolio in Poland, or a EUR 500 million office REIT IPO placed in the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Tomasz has also been actively supporting the development of the modern business services sector in Poland, advising and cooperating with major global companies from the industry. He has over 20 years' experience in the real estate market.

Together with her team she advises and represents clients in leasing, renegotiations, disposal and acquisition of commercial facilities. Robert Dobrzycki

Robert Dobrzycki as Chief Executive Officer oversees the operations in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Romania and recently also in the United Kingdom where Panattoni merged to form a new development company, named First Panattoni, with a first phase capital facility of £300m to spend on new land purchases and speculative development in the UK. Dobrzycki opened Panattoni CEE’s operation in 2005 and under his management Panattoni Europe achieved the leading position on the Polish market and high brand recognition in Central Europe. During 12 years under Mr. Dobrzycki management Panattoni Europe developed in Poland over 4.7 million square meters of warehouse space out of existing stock of 13 million square meters. In 2018 Panattoni was named the most active developer in Europe by Property EU magazine. Currently, the portfolio managed by the Company in Europe is ca. 3 million square meters. Apart from Poland, Panattoni Europe has offices in the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Germany and Romania.

For 15 years he had been with Skanska where he worked as President for Skanska Commercial Development Europe (CDE), Skanska’s business unit that develops properties in Central and Eastern Europe and the head of Skanska Property Poland, a unit within Skanska Commercial Development Europe. Prior to that Mr. Lindberg had worked with Residential Development in the Nordics and for Skanska Russia as both CFO and CEO. Appointed CEO of Echo Investment on 18 April 2016.
