Dunkin’ Donuts set to open at Galeria Młociny

With seven locations in Poland already, the donut shop plans to open 37 more–starting with the newest shopping centre in Warsaw.

The famous American coffee chain, Dunkin’ Donuts, has signed a lease agreement at Galeria Młociny. The modern retail and entertainment center currently under construction in the Bielany district of Warsaw will house approximately 220 retail and service units, as well as a food court with a seating area on the green roof.

“Galeria Młociny will not only be a shopping center. First and foremost it will be a friendly meeting place offering leisure opportunities. With this in mind, we are developing our culinary offer and are delighted to welcome Dunkin’ Donuts, yet another brand popular among Polish consumers”, said Michał Masztakowski, Development and Leasing Director at Master Management Group.

The franchisee of Dunkin ‘Donuts in Poland is Varsovia Food Company, which currently has a total of seven locations in Warsaw and Lodz, and plans to open another 37 in the next six years. The first cafe was opened over a year ago, and the brand has quickly gained many customers by serving the classic American donuts, bagels and coffee.

The centre will offer 220 retail and service units, home to many popular brands including Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho, as well as VAN GRAAF, C&A and H&M. There will also be watch and jewelry stores: Apart, Bijou Brigitte, YES, Swatch, Briju and Zibi, while anyone looking for trendy home furnishings and accessories will find them at Zara Home and Mensa Home. The perfumery chain Sephora offering luxury cosmetics and fragrances is the first premium brand to lease a store in Galeria Młociny. Leisure and entertainment will be provided by the 9-screen CINEMA3D. Active shoppers will also be able to keep fit at the Calypso Fitness Club and buy sportswear and equipment at GO Sport and Martes Sport. Galeria Mociny will also offer something for kids, namely a SMYK store. Galeria Młociny will feature a unique food court concept with modern aesthetics, lots of natural light and outdoor seating in the rooftop garden. So far lease agreements have been signed by KFC, Pizza Hut Express, Burger King, Express Kuchnia Marché, Lifemotiv, Olimp, Subway, ZenThai, Sevi Kebab, Compañeros and Saladki.

Modern architectural design

Galeria Młociny was developed by two prestigious architectural studios – Autorska Pracownia Architektury Kuryłowicz & Associates and Chapman Taylor. As a result, a leisure space with a view of the Młociny Woods and accessible to everyone will be created. In the summer, it will be a place to relax in the open-air food court or to participate in sports (offering a sports field and running tracks). In the winter, it will house the first rooftop ice rink in Warsaw. Inside, the complex will have ceilings high enough for split level stores, there will be spacious piazzas and alleys and lots of natural light. There will also be ample room for large-scale events such as concerts or promotional activities.
