Colliers International celebrates 20 years in Poland

Colliers International celebrates two decades of its operations in Poland. For 20 years, Colliers International have supported the development of the Polish commercial real estate market, becoming one of the most trusted advisory companies for tenants, owners and investors.

The firm celebrated its anniversary together with its clients and business partners during a special gala held at Ujazdowski Castle (Zamek Ujazdowski).

“We started as a group of 7 real estate enthusiasts. Today we are one of the biggest advisory companies in Poland. We are a tight-knit team and we can depend on each other in every situation. It is also down to our Clients, with whom we were creating the commercial real estate market in Warsaw and regional markets. Our common history makes the Clients trust us and eagerly return to us with subsequent projects,” said Monika Rajska-Wolińska, Managing Partner, Colliers International.

The celebration was held on June 21 at Warsaw’s Ujazdowski Castle. The event led by Piotr Kraśko and Michał Olszewski, Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, responsible for, among others, the development of the capital of Poland, urban development and architecture of the city, was the event’s honorary guest.

The event was also attended by Chris McLernon, Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International for the EMEA region, who handed out commemorative coins to Colliers International Partners. Among the awarded are Robert Karniewski, Monika Rajska-Wolińska, Ewa Czarnecka, Paweł Skałba, Peter Love, Maciej Chmielewski, Sylwia Pędzińska, Piotr Mirowski and Tomasz Kasperowicz. Special thanks were also given to Hadley Dean, Managing Partner of the company over the period 2001-2011.

Colliers International history in Poland dates back to 1997, when John McLernon decided to open an office in Warsaw. The success of Colliers International is being built by a team of nearly 300 advisors in Poland’s 7 largest cities.
