Founder & Editor
Richard Stephens is founder & editor of Poland Today, an English-language media company based in Warsaw. The company is the publisher of the award-winning Poland Today magazine and hosts its flagship conferences at MIPIM, the world’s leading real estate fair in Cannes.
Throughout his career, Richard has organised over 180 international conferences and events. He was previously editor of Eurobuild CEE magazine, where he established the conference department and also created the hugely successful Eurobuild Awards Gala, running the first two editions. Previously, he was Managing Director of CEPIF, the CEE region’s real estate fair in Warsaw. Over the last few years, Richard has organised 10+ trips of international journalists to Poland & CEE countries on behalf of entities like UEFA, ahead of Euro 2012 in Poland & Ukraine.
Bartosz Stefaniak is Poland Today‘s co-founder and creative director. He has cooperated with Le Monde and Agence France Presse among others. Bartosz has also worked with Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on different projects. He runs a blog about the balance of power in international relations Trzecia Wojna Światowa. Monica Zielinski is Poland Today‘s online editor and social media manager. She is a Polish-American with a journalism degree from Southern Connecticut State University in the US. She moved to Warsaw in 2016 to reconnect with her Polish roots and work in her field. She is also currently earning a master’s in English Studies at the University of Warsaw.
Liam Frahm is Poland Today’s editorial co-ordinator and is based in the United Kingdom. He currently studies politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University and is interested in current and international affairs.
Julia Domagala has over seven years of experience in public relations and event management. She acquired her skills working as a journalist in Sweden, and with media and communication in cinema & television productions in Warsaw.
Julia also worked at the Polish Parliament where she was responsible for communications, conferences and coordination of the election campaign for the European Parliament. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, she speaks fluent Polish, English and French.
Key Account Manager
Jacek Ojrzyński is Poland Today’s key account manager and is responsible for business relations. He has a master’s degree in History from the University of Warsaw and he is currently completing a Management Master program also at UW. When he’s not working or studying, Jacek’s passion is rowing. Together with friends, he even co-founded a new rowing club in Warsaw – TWDW.
