Kuehne + Nagel takes 56,000 m2 at P3 Piotrków park in Poland

P3 continues its strong growth with a new 61,000 m2 building at P3 Piotrków park in central Poland. Its main tenant will be Kuehne + Nagel, which will occupy 56,000 m2 of space.

Since the start of the year, in keeping with its strategy, P3 has started construction work at each of its parks in Poland. The latest logistics facility is specifically designed for Kuehne + Nagel. It will be fitted with almost 6,000 m2 of chillers and refrigeration systems, and will include a high bay warehouse, order-picking warehouse and a cosmetics warehouse, with all operations being housed under one roof. The structure will have a host of energy-saving solutions including LED lighting as well as PIR composite wall and roof panels. The facility is scheduled for completion in January 2018.

Piotr Bzowski, Leasing & Development Director for P3 in Poland, commented: “We’re thrilled that
Kuehne + Nagel, a company with such a strong brand identity, has put its trust in us. The negotiations singled out a facility that would meet the tenant’s expectations and allow them to conduct operations seamlessly. The choice of P3 Piotrków park was logical as it sits at the geographical centre of Poland and is an important nexus for the main national highways, allowing for smooth and efficient storage and distribution operations.”

Ingo Goldhammer, Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel Poland, said: “The space that P3 has offered will allow us to run a lot of the operations at one location, which is a real advantage and one of the key factors in our decision – in addition to the perfect geographic location.”

P3 Piotrków park comprises 90,105 m² of existing warehouse space and land allowing the construction of an additional 400,000 m². The park’s central Poland location guarantees optimal conditions for distribution on a national and international scale.

In Poland, P3 has a total of over 716,000 m2 of space in existing or under-construction warehouse facilities and over 800,000 m2 available on a Build-To-Suit (BTS) basis. Its logistic parks are located in Błonie (P3 Błonie park) and Mszczonów (P3 Mszczonów park) near Warsaw, in Poznań (P3 Poznań park) in central-western Poland, and in the Piotrków Trybunalski region in central Poland (P3 Piotrków park).
